In 2013, the charitable foundation, Gatsby, commissioned research into pragmatic actions to improve career guidance across England’s secondary schools. As a result, 8 benchmarks were recommended which identify good practice in career guidance and as a school. The Department for Education brought these benchmarks to prominence in their careers strategy and we are fully meeting all of the Gatsby Benchmarks at 100%. 

We work with the Thames Valley Careers and Enterprise Company and are pleased that they agree that we are fully meeting benchmarks 2, 5 and 8 at 100%, and we continue to work hard to fully meet the remaining benchmarks going forward.
