Transition Outreach

Two of our specialist English teachers work alongside their primary colleagues English based projects.  One of the aims of the outreach work is to aid transition from Primary and Secondary. The Piggott School leadership students also visit the primary schools to assist and support projects, wherever possible.

Modern Foreign Languages

An experienced member of the Modern Foreign Languages Department regularly supports a number of our cluster primaries in teaching the KS2 Modern Foreign Language curriculum.

Leadership in Primaries

Seven leadership opportunities are offered to Year 9 students: Literacy, Numeracy, Science, Languages, IT, Artsmix and Sport. They are given regular opportunities each term to work and support local primary cluster pupils who come into The Piggott School to work on various projects.
