2024 A Level and Level 3 Vocational Results

Our A level pass rate was over 98% with an outstanding 32% of grades at A* & A.

63% of our results were graded at A*-B, and 84% graded A*-C. The average point score per A level entry was 39 points using the QCA system, making the average grade a B.

Our Vocational Level 3 pass rate for Applied General qualifications was 100%, with Distinction Star to Merit being 80%.

 

2024 GCSE Results

84% of pupils passed English, 88% passed mathematics and 86% passed at least two science GCSEs at Level 4 or above. Our combined best English and mathematics Level 4+ pass rate was 89%.

Our five or more Level 4+ including best English and mathematics is 85%!

Exceptional results were achieved across a whole range of subjects, with pass rates of 100% in eight subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Food and Preparation, Further Maths, Physics, German, Statistics and Dance.

Other subject highlights with outstanding pass rates included: Spanish (85%), Art & Design (98%), Computer Science (95%), Photography (95%), Religious Studies (82%), History (87%), Double Science (81%), Maths (88%), Music (92%), English Literature (84%), Chinese (94%) and Geography (81%).

Our Progress 8 (P8) score, using the latest available data, is estimated to be +0.8.  This means on average, every child, in every P8 subject, achieved nearly a grade higher at The Piggott School than at an average school.
